The Kalibaru Regional Police together with the Satpol PP carried out an operation to create conditions for 10 stalls that started the sound system until late at night in the Plaza Kalibaru embankment area, Tanjung Priok Port, North Jakarta.

The operation was carried out after a public report was made regarding the disturbance of Kamtibmas.

"After checking, it was not a dimly lit shop and no one was found drunk there. It's just that there was one person talking, his mouth smelled alcohol," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kalibaru Regional Police, AKP Supriyono when confirmed, Thursday, November 13.

Kanit said the activity was carried out following up on public complaints and information from social media.

According to residents' reports, at the location there were also comfort women who were troubling local residents. However, after checking, the joint officers did not find any such information.

"We are collecting data on 10 traders who still use the sound system while selling," he said.

AKP Supriyono added, if after the appeal is made, violations are still found in the form of using a sound system with a high volume, the Kalibaru Village Satpol PP will confiscate the device.

"During the operation, it was carried out to create conditions and appeals to traders, the situation was running safely, orderly, and conducive," he said.

Kanit appealed to traders to maintain order and not to carry out activities that could disturb local residents.

"We will continue to carry out patrols and coaching together with regional elements," he said.
