There's A Levy On Mutual Cooperation Vaccination To Employees, COVID-19 Task Force: Report It

JAKARTA - Rumor has it that an employee was asked to pay to the company in order to be vaccinated using the Mutual Cooperation (Gotong Royong) scheme in Jabodetabek.

COVID-19 Task Force Spokesman Wiku Adisasmito regretted the incident. Wiku was surprised that there are people who charge the mutual cooperation vaccine to their employees.

He asked all parties with knowledge of similar cases to report to the Ministry of Health.

"People who find the levy to immediately report to the Ministry of Health for follow-up", Wiku said in a Youtube impression of the Presidential Secretariat, Thursday, May 20.

Wiku again reminded the Mutual Cooperation vaccination program is done free of charge to employees. It is the company that covers the cost of vaccination.

"Companies participating in this program are also prohibited from cutting employee salaries for the benefit of the mutual cooperation vaccination program", he said.

Previously, ReportCovid19 got one report from employees who claimed to be asked for a fee from the company for a self-vaccine or so-called Mutual Cooperation vaccination.

ReportCovid19 volunteer team, Amanda Tan said the report came from one of the employees who worked in a private company in Jabodetabek.

"There are private companies that ask their employees to pay for vaccines (mutual cooperation), we can not name the reporter, but the location is in Jabodetabek", Amanda said when confirmed.

It is known that Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 2021 article 3 paragraph 4 concerning the Implementation of COVID-19 Vaccination mandates all employees to families in the Mutual Cooperation vaccination program is free of charge.

Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin has set the purchase price of Sinopharm brand vaccine through PT Bio Farma (Persero) which will be used for Mutual Cooperation vaccination worth IDR 321.660 per dose. Meanwhile, the maximum service rate is IDR 117.910 per dose. This price is charged to the company.
