JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission X DPR RI, Then Hadrian Irfani congratulated Erick Thohir as the new Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) replacing Dito Ariotedjo. Then also waiting for the PSSI General Chair's breakthrough to fix the achievements of athletes in all sports.

Then also hope that the programs brought by Erick Thohir are in line with President Prabowo Subianto's aspirations.

"Congratulations to the new Menpora. We are waiting for the best program according to President Prabowo's aspirations. The focus is on fixing sports achievements, there should be no distinction between existing sports," Lalu told reporters, Wednesday, September 17.

The PKB legislator from the NTB electoral district also hopes that Erick Thohir can continue the best Menpora programs before. Most importantly, said Lalu, Erick Thohir can make innovations in advancing sports and youth programs in the country.

"Continue a good program. Create innovations and creations for sports and youth development," he said.

In addition, the chairman of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) PKB DPW said that his party was really waiting for Erick Thohir's breakthroughs in bringing national sports to the international world.

"Preparing achievement sports to raise the dignity of the nation on the world stage. Youth programs must also be a priority to prepare the nation's superior generation," said Lalu.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto officially appointed Erick Thohir as the new Menpora to replace Dito Ariotedjo. Erick Thohir, who previously served as Minister of SOEs, also held a strategic position in the world of sports, one of which was the Chairman of PSSI.
