Save Rp300 Trillion Of State Money, Commission III Of The House Of Representatives Supports President Prabowo To Raise Corruption Prevention

JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives Abdullah, appreciated President Prabowo Subianto's success in saving state money of Rp300 trillion from potential fraud. Abdullah supports the President to continue to promote corruption prevention in order to save the state budget.

The steps taken by President Prabowo to save Rp. 300 trillion deserve appreciation. This is proof of the government's commitment to ensuring that people's money is not misused," Abdullah told reporters, Saturday, August 16.

Abdullah emphasized that the eradication of corruption in all lines of government must continue to be carried out consistently. According to him, state money must really be used for the benefit of the community, especially in development and improving welfare.

Eradication of corruption is not only a matter of taking action, but also prevention. This large state money must be directed at programs that are directly felt by the people," said the PKB legislator from the Central Java VI electoral district.

Abdullah hopes that the success of the government under President Prabowo's command in saving the budget can be a momentum to strengthen transparent and accountable state financial governance.

"At the same time it provides a deterrent effect for those who try to commit fraud," said the member of the legal commission.

So far, Abdullah said, President Prabowo has had a high commitment to eradicating corruption. For this reason, he considered, the spirit of the president must be followed by law enforcement agencies, both the police, the Attorney General's Office (AGO), and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"Law enforcement, both the police, the AGO, and the KPK must compete in preventing and eradicating corruption," Abdullah concluded.

Previously, in his speech at the 2025 MPR RI Annual Session, President Prabowo stated that he had led the eradication of corruption and fraud in all institutions.

By early 2025, the President said, his government had saved state finances of IDR 300 trillion from the state budget.

"I have no other choice but to lead efforts to eradicate corruption and abuse in all executive and government institutions," Prabowo said at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Friday, August 15.

"That is why at the beginning of 2025, we have identified and have saved Rp300 trillion from the APBN which we see is prone to being misappropriated," he said.
