East Jakarta Satpol PP installed a yellow Pol PP Line line on two pedestrian bridges (JPO) in the Cakung area that were not feasible after the loss of iron safety on the bridge.

"Installation of the Pol PP Line line so that other people no longer try to enter the line we have given, we mark it. Especially at points that have become the focus, this is the supervisory function," said East Jakarta Satpol PP Trantibum Controller, Urip Widodo when confirmed, Sunday, April 27.

Based on the results of the supervision of the East Jakarta Satpol PP, the number of JPOs that were neglected was 2 units in the Cakung area. In addition, the Satpol PP also recorded that there were 8 Transjakarta bus stops that also failed and a number of irons were missing.

"What has been monitored is based on routine patrols, there are 8 busway stops and 2 JPO," he said.

From the results of the supervision of the East Jakarta Satpol PP, the iron that was lost at the JPO and the Transjakarta bus stop in the Cakung area was in the footrest and JPO's right and left side safety poles.

"This supervision follows up from public reports on the Transjakarta busway bus stop, here many (iron) are missing," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the iron safety and roof of the People's Crossing Bridge (JPO) in front of United Tractors and Tipar Cakung, Jalan Raya Bekasi, Cakung District, East Jakarta was allegedly stolen by thieves.

This condition is very dangerous for pedestrians and JPO users. The facility, which should be a safe means for pedestrians to cross this road, is now almost malfunctioning due to the many damaged and missing parts.

From VOI's observations in the field, most of the barrier iron on the right and left sides of the center of the JPO has disappeared. This condition is very dangerous for the crossmen because there are no more barriers.

Menurut Mahdi, pedagang sekitar lokasi JPO Cakung yang rusak, tempat pen crossing orang ini masih dipergunakan oleh warga dan juga karyawan pabrik.

They have no choice because if they go through the zebra cross, they are afraid to be hit by a large vehicle.

"If I see that this JPO is still being used by residents. Many employees come home or come to work via the bridge even though the conditions are quite scary because there is no iron barrier. Now this JPO has been installed with a line that was prohibited from crossing yesterday, I see that it doesn't exist yet," he told reporters, Friday, April 25.
