The embassy said that during the visit of Deputy Minister of Health Jon Sol-ryong, Russia agreed to allow doctors from Pyongyang to continue their internships at leading medical centers in Moscow in various fields, including cardiology and oncology.
Furthermore, Moscow also agreed to assist in modernizing North Korea's pharmaceuticals, particularly the production of modern antibiotics, according to the embassy.
