Support The Health Of Young Athletes, Etana Provides Socialization And Vaccination

JAKARTA - As a national vaccine producer who is committed to nourishing the nation's generation, PT Etana Biotechnologies Indonesia (Etana) continues to play an active role in supporting public health. In an effort to protect young athletes from the risk of disease, Etana collaborates with the Central Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) and PT Caretaker Solusi Utama to organize the first dose of Hepatitis A vaccination program for athletes aged 16.

This activity took place on March 19, 2025 in the Lukman Niode Meeting Room, Central KONI Office, Senayan, Jakarta, in a hybrid format. This program is an important preventive step to maintain the health of athletes so that they can continue to excel and make the nation proud in the international arena.

Director of Anti-Infectious PT Etana Biotechnologies Indonesia M. Indra Lamora emphasized that this collaboration is a tangible manifestation of Etana's concern for athletes as Indonesian Sports Patriots.

"We, national vaccine producers in Jakarta, are in charge of nourishing the nation's children, we are called to serve the Sports Patriot. Today's activity is a form of our love for Indonesian U-16 athletes to continue to excel," said Indra in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday, March 20.

In the future, Indra hopes that the program will be sustainable and reach more regions in Indonesia.

"I hope this program can be carried out continuously, not only in Jakarta, but at the national level," added Indra.

In line with Etana, the General Chairperson of the Central KONI, Lt. Gen. Retired TNI Marciano Norman, welcomed this initiative and appreciated the partnership with the private sector in supporting the health of athletes. He called this vaccination important for the health of athletes and a priority scale.

"I hope this program can be sustainable for all sports and KONI Provinces to Regencies/Cities. This program is a motivation to continue working with partnership and collaboration schemes," said Marciano.

With a commitment to continue to support public health, Etana hopes that this vaccination program will be the first step in creating a healthier generation of athletes and ready to carry the name of Indonesia on the world stage. Etana is also committed to continuing to innovate and expand health programs that are beneficial to all levels of society.
