Sukabumi Police have named six suspects in the case of the death of Suherlan alias Samson (33), a resident of Cihurang Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, whose case occurred on Friday (21/2).

"We have named the six suspected perpetrators of the persecution as suspects in the case of SAMson abuse to death in Cidadap Village, Simpenan District," said Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Samian as reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 24.

According to Samian, before determining the suspect, his party had asked for information from a number of witnesses, processed the crime scene, collected evidence and filed a case.

However, the police did not provide detailed information on who the alleged perpetrators of SAMson's persecution to death. From the results of the case title, the six suspects were suspected of being directly involved in the mass action.

Six people named as suspects in this case were charged with Article 170 paragraph (1) and (2) 3 of the Criminal Code or Article 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code concerning criminal acts of beatings or persecution that resulted in death with a penalty of more than five years in prison.

"In full, we will inform you during the press conference later, but what is clear is that from the results of the investigation and investigation into the case of Samson's death, six people have been named suspects," he added.

Samian confirmed that Samson was a person with a mental disorder (ODGJ) based on the results of an examination from Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital, Bogor City.

In fact, several times the victim underwent mental rehabilitation, such as at the Palalamarta Mental Rehabilitation Center in Cibadak District and Panti Aura Welas Asih Palabuhanratu.
