JAKARTA - A teenager killed two women with knives in a shopping center in the Czech city of Hradec Kralove. The perpetrator of the attack was detained by the police.
Police are investigating the motive for the attack in the city of 110 km (68 miles) east of Prague.
"Even though we were at the scene minutes after the report, the two victims suffered serious injuries so they could not be saved despite relief efforts," police said in a post on X.
A police spokesman told online news site Novinky.cz the attack took place at a shop in an outdoor shopping center. The victim is an employee of the shop.
