A mysterious foreign object was discovered in northwestern Poland on Thursday. Currently, the Polish Space Agency is investigating whether the similar object found in the country the previous day came from Elon Musk's SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

Police spokesman Magdalena Zblewska said the last object fell in the city of Czersk.

On Wednesday, objects resembling containers were found near Poznan in western Poland. Later, a second "identical" container was found in the forest of Wiry village.

Police received a report from a Czersk communal resident who reported that an unidentified object had fallen on his property, Zblewska said.

"The police secured the area and investigated the cause of the incident," he continued.

Police informed the POLSA space agency, Polish Air Navigation Agency, Fire Department, and other services about the incident.

As previously reported, the Polish space agency POLSA is examining whether foreign objects found near the western Polish city of Poznan are debris from Elon Musk's SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

Foreign objects resembling containers, appeared on Wednesday, February 19 morning at an iseal company in Komorniki, near Poznan, according to Polish police.

"We cannot rule out that the object found near Poznan comes from a Falcon 9 rocket whose flight we monitored. Confirmation this requires an exact examination," said Annieszka Gapies, a member of the POLSA press service.

The agency said the rocket weighing about 4 tonnes monitored Wednesday morning came from the SpaceX Starlink Group mission, which was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on February 1.

"POLSA continues to be in contact with the police," the agency said separately.

"We already have a photo of the object falling near Poznan. The POLSA Department of Space Security will verify the object with Space X," he continued.

The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is a two-stage reusable rocket designed and manufactured by SpaceX to transport humans and payloads into Earth orbit.
