KSP Says There is No Indication of Negligence in the Death of a Manager Training Participant for Kopdes

JAKARTA - The Presidential Chief of Staff, General TNI (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman, said the government had not found any indication of negligence in the three cases of the death of Red and White Village Cooperative manager training participants.

According to Dudung, the three events are still in the process of evaluation and investigation so that the government cannot draw conclusions about the exact cause.

"The information I received, until now there has been no element of negligence," said Dudung at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday, June 26.

He expressed condolences to the families of the participants who died. The government, said KSP Dudung, will evaluate the entire training process so that similar incidents do not recur.

Dudung explained that all participants had undergone a health examination before participating in the training. However, in its implementation, it is possible that there are health factors and other conditions that affect participants.

According to Dudung, the training materials such as those experienced by SPPI participants are not considered heavy. The training is more directed at building discipline, loyalty, cooperation, and the spirit of korsa.

He emphasized that all future training must continue to prioritize the safety of participants by ensuring that each procedure is carried out correctly.

The government will use the results of the evaluation and investigation as the basis for improving the implementation of the next Red and White Village Cooperative manager training.
