He admitted that he deliberately went directly to the field to review the condition of the Pujasera TPS, to answer public complaints regarding the handling of waste submitted through social media.
It was stated that field visits were carried out to ensure that waste management runs optimally, as well as to follow up on the aspirations of the people who were widely discussed on social media.
"I was given the mandate as the Acting Regent of Subang to ensure that public services continue to run optimally, including waste management services," he said.
According to him, this waste issue must be a common concern. Handling it requires cooperation or collaboration between local governments and the community.
He conveyed the importance of handling comprehensive waste, from upstream to downstream, and invited the people of Subang to play an active role in handling waste in their respective environments.
Acting Regent of Subang also said that currently local governments are formulating short-term and long-term solutions to overcome waste problems in the Subang area.
"Currently we are looking for the right solution, both in terms of technical and budget," he said.
