AHY Not Receiving Reports About HGB Sea Pagar During The Assignment Of The Minister Of ATR/BPN

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono admitted that he did not know about the sea fence Building Use Rights (HGB) certificate in Tangerang, Banten, when he served as Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR)/Head of the National Land Agency (BPN).

"I don't know, I don't know, and of course this has happened before for the HGB, right, 2023. And once again because it's out, I'm in 2024," said the man who is familiarly called AHY at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, January 21.

AHY explained that the HGB of the sea fence had existed since 2023, before he served as Minister of ATR/BPN. He admitted that he did not receive any reports regarding the HGB of the sea fence while occupying the position.

Currently, he said, the Ministry of ATR/BPN is investigating the HGB to find out the problem and the chronology of its issuance.

AHY said there are provisions that allow to evaluate to revoke HGB or SHM certificates if legal defects are found, both procedurally and materially.

"There are provisions before five years, if it turns out that something is not appropriate, whether it is inappropriate or flawed, both procedural and material, especially if there are legal defects, it must be evaluated immediately, even revoked whether it is SHM or HGB, and we will see it as a whole," he said.

Furthermore, AHY added that President Prabowo Subianto had conveyed to all his staff not to commit violations.

"If there is a violation, it will be corrected immediately, evaluated, and there must be clear action. Actions that are in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations as well. This applies to all," saidAHY.

Previously, Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid said the 30.16 kilometer sea fence in Tangerang waters, Banten, already has a Building Use Rights Certificate (HGB) and an Ownership Certificate (SHM).

He conveyed that the number of Building Use Rights (HGB) certificates reached 263 fields in the names of several companies to individuals.

Nusron mentioned HGB certificates in the name of PT Intan Agung Makmur as many as 234 fields, and on behalf of PT Cahaya Inti Sentosa as many as 20 fields. Then on behalf of individuals as many as nine fields.

Then, Nusron also mentioned that there are 17 parcels of ownership (SHM).
