Andra Soni Relieved Appointed As Elected Governor Of Banten, Ready To Realize Free School Promises

SERANG - The elected governor of Banten Andra Soni said he was relieved that he and Deputy Governor Dimyati Natakusumah were declared winners of the 2024 Regional Head Election by the Banten General Election Commission.

"Alhamdulillah, there is a relief to arrive at this stage, yes, but this means that this is also a mandate that we must carry out as well as possible," said Andra as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, January 9.

Andra expressed his gratitude to all supporting political parties in the Advanced Banten Coalition, the ranks of the TNI and Polri who created a conducive situation, as well as the people who gave confidence to him.

Not to forget, Andra thanked the candidate pair for governor-deputy governor-deputy governor of BantenAirin Rachmi Diany-Ade Sumardi for carrying out constitutional tasks together.

"Daninsyaallah kami nanti akan berkomunikasi dalam rangka bersinergi untuk membangun negara," ujarnya.

Andra revealed that the election results were the success of the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka because they had delivered the 2024 Pilkada peacefully.

Andra Soni also revealed that the program he carries, namely free schools, will be accommodated in the 2025 APBD.

"God willing, our intention is how to carry out programs that have an impact on the community, one of which is free schools," he said.

In addition, Andra will provide opportunities for all civil servants who want to serve in accordance with their competencies and integrity to fill the vacant echelon II position.
