PDIP Spokesperson Guntur Romli responded to Effendi Simbolon's statement asking PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri to resign because PDIP Secretary General Hasto was named a suspect in the bribery case of Harun Masiku.
Guntur emphasized that Effendi Simbolon had been fired from the PDIP so that it was inappropriate and unethical to comment on anything related to the PDI-P.
"And the statement asking Mrs. Megawati to resign is an rude statement," said Guntur Romli, in his statement, Thursday, January 9.
Guntur suspects that Effendi Simbolon's statement was the result of a meeting with the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo in Solo some time ago. Guntur believes that Megawati's party about someone who wants to mess with PDIP are the two people.
"We are increasingly convinced that Mrs. Megawati's words on December 12 were chaotic," he said.
Guntur also believes that the determination of the suspect to the PDIP Secretary General is a 'political order' and as an entry point to pressure Megawati to resign.
"The more it is revealed, the more cunning it is: push your hand back, slap your hand in the hand. Someone uses the KPK to attack the PDI-P," said Guntur.
Previously, Effendi Simbolon asked Megawati to take responsibility after PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was named a suspect in a bribery case involving former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan, by Harun Masiku.
"There must be accountability from the general chairman as well that this is a violation of the law," said Effendi at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Indonesia, Wednesday, January 8.

According to Effendi, the problem that befell Hasto is a serious legal problem. He also considered that Megawati should resign from the ketum seat as an accountability for her high-ranking officials who were caught in legal problems.
"He (Megawati) must resign, as a form of accountability for this, this is a serious problem with legal matters, not a matter of ethics that is being heralded, this is legal," he said.
