JAKARTA - A man with the initials MT was desperate to threaten to kill his mother and younger brother, AF (21) in the Cililitan area, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. The threat was carried out by MT for no apparent reason after he went berserk.

AF, the perpetrator's younger brother, recorded his brother's behavior and spread the video to social media with a duration of 1 minute 26 seconds.

Not wanting to lose, his older brother, MT, also recorded his sister with the cellphone he was carrying. The incident immediately caught the attention of residents around the scene.

"Crazy people are angry, I want to be killed," said the younger brother who recorded the video.

The older brother did not want to lose. The man uttered harsh words to his younger brother.

For this incident, AF reported his brother to the Kramat Jati Police, East Jakarta.

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said the brothers' quarrel had happened twice.

The first incident occurred in August 2024, at that time AF wanted to report to the police but was canceled because it was reconciled with the head of the local RT.

"The first incident his younger brother wanted to report to the police, but when he arrived at the police station, his younger brother was called by the head of the RT, told to go home by the head of the RT because he wanted to be reconciled, considering that he was still in a relationship with his brothers and sisters," Nicolas said when confirmed, Wednesday, January 8.

However, acts of violence occurred again on Monday, January 6. At that time, continued the Police Chief, AF chose to record his brother's actions.

"The next case was uploaded by his sister because he was very annoyed with his brother's behavior," he said.

In the second incident, AF and his mother were reluctant to report to the police, but they asked for help from the police to take their brother to the Duren Sawit Regional Special Hospital (RSKD) for a psychiatric examination.

"The sister and her mother don't want to make a police report," he said.
