No Disputes In The Constitutional Court, The Following Is A List Of 21 Provinces Determining The Elected Governors Of The 2024 Pilkada Today

The General Election Commission (KPU) noted that as many as 21 provinces did not have a dispute over the votes acquired by candidates for governor-deputy governor of the 2024 Pilkada at the Constitutional Court (KPU).

In addition, as many as 275 regencies/cities and 21 regions in the Aceh independent election commission (KIP) also did not have a request for a dispute over the election results (PHP) at the Constitutional Court.

Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Mochammad Afifuddin said that the pair of candidates with the most votes in the 21 provinces will be designated as elected governors today. Likewise with hundreds of districts/cities that have no disputes.

"Provincial KPU and regency/city KPU in these areas can proceed to the stages of determining the elected candidate pairs for governor and deputy governor candidates, regent and deputy regent candidates, as well as mayor and deputy mayor candidates, on January 9, 2025," Afif said in his statement, Thursday, January 9.

The following is a list of 21 provinces that will determine the pair of candidates elected in the 2024 Pilkada:

3. Riau

4. Jambi

5. South Sumatra

6. Bengkulu

7. Lampung

8. Riau Islands

9. DKI Jakarta

10. West Java

11. Banten

12. Bali

13. West Nusa Tenggara

14. East Nusa Tenggara

15. West Kalimantan

16. South Kalimantan

17. North Kalimantan

18. Gorontalo

19. West Sulawesi

20. Maluku

21. West Papua

Previously, the Constitutional Court had released a constitutional case registration book (BRPK). The Constitutional Court registered 310 cases, consisting of 23 cases of PHP for governors and deputy governors spread across 16 provinces, 238 cases of PHP for regents and deputy regents, as well as 49 cases of PHP for mayors and deputy mayors spread across 233 districts/cities.

Currently, the trial at the Constitutional Court has begun with a preliminary examination agenda scheduled to take place from January 8 to 16, 2025.

Meanwhile, the trial with the agenda of hearing the KPU's answer as the respondent, the information of related parties, and Bawaslu's statement, will be held on 17 January-4 February 2025.
