Army Chief Of Staff Invites TNI Soldiers In Creative And Innovative Aceh While On Duty

BANDA ACEH - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Maruli Simanjuntak invites TNI soldiers in the Aceh Province to continue to innovate and be creative in carrying out their task of helping the community, to maintain the level of public trust in the TNI.

This was conveyed by the Army Chief of Staff Maruli when visiting the Military Resort Command (Korem) 011/Lilawangsa, Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Wednesday, January 8.

"The TNI AD soldiers are the main actors, so we get the public's trust. To the Military Commander Iskandar Muda and Danrem Lilawangsa, thank you for the innovation in helping the community, that's what made the Indonesian Army continue to advance," said KSAD Maruli as quoted by ANTARA.

Maruli said he was happy to be present in the midst of the soldiers of the big family of the Iskandar Muda Kodam. Even though it was a short time, he was able to meet face to face with soldiers and family.

"I'm trying to be able to visit every Korem region, this way we can talk directly with the soldiers, so that we can receive input and suggestions for the progress of the Indonesian Army," he said.

He advised the soldiers to continue to increase faith and piety to God Almighty, be more innovating and creative, stay away from all violations, and always be grateful for the gift in carrying out their daily lives.

The Army Chief of Staff also invited soldiers to change their mindset so as not to think of becoming soldiers because they wanted to be rich, but to be grateful for what the state had given and maintain family harmony.

"We want children to get good education and schools, many TNI members who excel and get scholarships, try to communicate time with family because we often carry out services leaving the family," he said.

The Army Chief of Staff also requested that TNI soldiers not be tempted by the investment business, avoid violations and drugs which would actually harm themselves, love children and wives, focus on working while serving in the army and helping the community.

"This year we will dispatch 300 TNI soldiers to carry out Umrah, thank you Pangdam Iskandar Muda and Danrem Lilawangsa, with the presence of Kodam Iskandar Muda helping the community and local governments a lot to improve the welfare of the community," he said.
