KPK Call Hiphi Hidati Regarding Allegations Of Corruption In Procurement Of Houses For Members Of The DPR

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned two witnesses regarding the alleged corruption in the procurement of goods at the official residence of members of the DPR RI today, Monday, January 6. One of them is Hiphi Hidupati as Head of the House Management Section of the DPR RI for the 2019-2022 period.

"The examination was carried out at the Red and White KPK Building," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in her statement, Monday, January 6.

Tessa has not yet detailed the presence of Hiphi. While the other witnesses who were also examined were Purwadi, who was a private employee.

Hiphi was already summoned in this case on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was questioned about the flow of money to the suspect.

In addition, Hiphi has been prevented from leaving the country along with six other people, namely the Secretary General of the DPR RI Indra Iskandar; President Director of PT Daya Indah Dynamics, Tanti Nugroho; and Director of PT Dwitunggal Bangun Persada, Juanda Hasurungan Sidabutar.

Then it was also prevented by the Director of Operations of PT Avantgarde Production, Kibun Roni; Project Manager of PT Integra Indocabinet, Andrias Catur Prasetya; and Edwin Budiman who are private.

As previously reported, the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption at the Secretariat General of the DPR regarding the procurement of furniture or furniture at the official residence of lawmakers. It is suspected that the filling of the living room to the bedroom was rigged.

The modes that occur in this case are violations of several provisions related to the procurement of goods and services and budget inflations or mark-ups. The official residences whose contents are corrupted are located in Kalibata and Ulujami, South Jakarta.
