KPK Reveals Only 72 Percent Of Prabowo Cabinet Members Who Report Wealth

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that only 72 percent of members of the Red and White Cabinet submitted state administrators' wealth reports (LHKPN). The data was entered as of Tuesday, January 7.

"Updates for reporting the LHKPN of the Red and White Cabinet recorded 90 out of a total of 124 mandatory reports have submitted their LHKPN or have reached around 72 percent," said KPK Spokesperson Team Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, January 9.

Budi detailed that at the ministerial level/head of the institution at the ministerial level, 44 of the total 55 were required to report.

"Then of the 57 deputy ministers/deputies of heads of institutions at the ministerial level, 38 have submitted reports of their assets and of 15 special envoys, a total of 8 people have reported LHKPN," he explained.

The KPK reminded officials in President Prabowo Subianto's cabinet to immediately report their assets. This obligation should be completed on January 21 or three months after they are sworn in.

"If there are obstacles in filling out LHKPN, the KPK is open to providing assistance and assistance in filling it out," said Budi.

Budi reminded these officials that they must have the awareness to fill out their LHKPN. Because, this method is an instrument for preventing corruption.

"LHKPN as an instrument of prevention is a form of transparency of public officials over the ownership of their assets and assets," he said.

"So that people can openly participate in monitoring and supervising. This is a manifestation of community involvement in eradicating corruption," concluded Budi.
