BANJARMASIN Governor of South Kalimantan H. Muhidin ensured that his regional readiness to host the peak commemoration of the 2025 National Press Day (HPN). By presenting 15 magnificent stages, the 2025 HPN in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, is expected to be a memorable and successful national event.

"These stages will accommodate more than 2,000 invitations, including President Prabowo Subianto, ministers, newly appointed governors, state officials, and PWI administrators from all over Indonesia," said Muhidin when receiving an audience from the South Kalimantan PWI management at his residence, Thursday, January 2.

Not only that, Muhidin said that this stage will also be used for the inauguration of 13 regents and mayors throughout South Kalimantan. According to him, the South Kalimantan Provincial Government will provide the best service for all guests present.

"Whatever the needs of the event, just say it. The South Kalimantan Provincial Government is ready to fully support the implementation of the 2025 HPN," said Muhidin.

The chairman of PWI South Kalimantan, Zainal Helmie, revealed that the committee had prepared a lively series of events. In addition to seminars and mass media conventions, this event will be enlivened with expos, people's parties, and leisurely walks involving the wider community.

"The 2025 HPN is not only a celebration of press personnel, but also a momentum for the people of South Kalimantan to participate in national-scale events," said Helmie.

Meanwhile, the Head of the South Kalimantan Communications and Information Office, M. Muslim, hopes that the 2025 HPN event can strengthen the role of the press in national development.
