The First Group Of Indonesian Hajj Candidates 2025 Departs May 2-16

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) said that so far the departure of the first flying group (kloter) of Indonesian Hajj candidates 1446 Hijri/2025 AD is planned to take place on May 2-16, 2025.

"God willing, on May 2' 16 the departure of the first batch of pilgrims. The peak of the pilgrimage will be held on June 5, 2025.

"The peak of the wuhkuf hajj in Arafah on June 5, so the congregation will leave for Arafah on June 4, 2025. Its Eid al-Adha on June 6 (10 Zulhijah), hopefully there will be no shift in date," he said.

After the departure of the first batch on May 2' 16, 2025, the departure of the pilgrims from Medina to Jeddah is scheduled to take place from 11 to 25 May 2025. Meanwhile, the departure of the second batch of pilgrims from Indonesia directly to Jeddah will be carried out from 17 to 31 May 2025, with the closing date of departure (closed date) set on May 31, 2025.

The procession for the peak of the pilgrimage began with the departure of pilgrims from Makkah to Arafah on June 4, 2025, which was followed by wukuf in Arafah on June 5, 2025. The Eid al-Adha celebration took place on June 6, 2025, followed by Tasyrik Day on 7, 8, and June 9, 2025.

The repatriation of the first batch of pilgrims from Jeddah to Indonesia is scheduled to take place from 12 to 26 June 2025, with the beginning of arrival in Indonesia starting on 12 June 2025.

For the second batch of pilgrims, departures from Makkah to Medina will be carried out between June 19 and July 3, 2025, while repatriation from Jeddah to Indonesia will take place from June 27 to July 11, 2025.

The end of the arrival of the second batch of pilgrims in Indonesia is scheduled for July 12, 2025. In the midst of this series of worship, the Hijri New Year 1447 H will fall on June 26, 2025.
