Six Suspects In Subsidized Fuel Cases Transferred To Jambi/ANTARA Prosecutor's Office

JAMBI - Investigators of Sub-Directorate IV Tipidter of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Jambi Police have transferred six suspects in the case of misuse of subsidized fuel to the Jambi High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati).

Kasubdit IV Tipidter Ditreskrimsus Jambi Police AKBP Reza Khomeini said the Jambi Police had completed the file on the case of misuse of subsidized fuel and six suspects had been transferred to the Prosecutor's Office.

The six suspects are Abdul Rahman S, Yon Abimayu, Naufal Pauzi, Jefri Aswandi, Defrio Saputra, and Rado. This delegation was carried out after the prosecutor stated that the case files for the suspects were complete. The six suspects have been transferred to Monday, December 30, 2024.

Sebelumnya diberitakan pada 4 November 2024 polisi menangkap enam orang tersangka pelaku tindak pidana penyalahgunaan BBM subsidi yang menyebabkan kerugian negara mencapai Rp6 miliar.

Director of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Jambi Kombes Pol Bambang Yugo Pamungkas said the disclosure of this case occurred in Muaro Tembesi, Batanghari.

The suspect was found selling five jerry cans of bio solar subsidy fuel with a capacity of 35 liters at a price of Rp. 250 thousand per jerry can.

In addition to bio solar, the suspect also sold seven jerry cans of pertalite fuel at a price of IDR 350 thousand per jerry can.

Bambang said the tank driver contacted the buyer to determine the location of the subsidized fuel sale and purchase.

After it was agreed that the location of the meeting, the suspect lowered part of the fuel from the tank car into jirigen to be resold to the container.

The suspect's actions resulted in state losses of Rp6.26 billion which was carried out for a year.

The alleged article alleged in Article 55 of Law number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 6 years and a fine of Rp. 60 billion.
