Immigration Will Serve Passports Of 1,075 Applicants At GBK On January 19

The Directorate General (Ditjen) of Immigration of the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections (Imipas) will provide passport services for 1,075 applicants at the Gelora Bung Karno East Parking Plaza (GBK), Jakarta, on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Director of Visa and Travel Documents of the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Immigration, Imipas Tato Juliadin Hidayawan, explained that the service was provided in the context of the 75th Anniversary of Immigration which will fall on January 26, 2025.

"People who want to take care of their passports need to first register a passport application in the M-Passport application, by selecting the location of service service 1,075 Passports for the 75th Immigration Anniversary (East Petir GBK)," said Tato in a written statement reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 4.

He revealed that the passport application quota at GBK has been open since January 2, 2025 in the M-Passport application and continues to open until the quota runs out.

The passport services provided at GBK are the manufacture of new passports and passport replacement. Meanwhile, the type of passport issued is in the form of an electronic passport for a lamination sheet and an electronic passport for a polycarbonate sheet.

Not only residents of Jakarta and its surroundings, he said, people throughout Indonesia can also access sympathetic passport services at the nearest immigration office.

The service is open every Saturday during January (four times) until January 25, 2025, with the number of quotas adjusting the capacity of each immigration office.

Tattoos say, to access sympathetic passport services, people can register applications through the M-Passport application or come directly (walk-in).

"However, travel services are prioritized for priority groups (elderly women, pregnant women, infants and toddlers, as well as residents with special needs)," he said.

In addition, he said that people who take care of passports at GBK can also visit various MSME outlets participating in the Immigration Festival (Imifest).

In addition, free health services are also available in the form of consultations with doctors and blood pressure checks and blood sugar levels.

On the same day as passport services at GBK, the Directorate General of Immigration will also hold an Immigration Run (Imirun) which can be followed by the general public.

Tattoos also remind people whose passports are lost or damaged that they cannot be served at passport services at GBK and sympathetic passports on Saturday at immigration offices.

He hopes that the 1,075 passports in GBK and sympathetic passports throughout Indonesia will provide convenience and comfort for the community.

"For residents in areas who wish to access sympathetic passport services, they can confirm with the immigration office regarding the availability of passport quotas," said Tato.
