NasDem Cadres Involved In Allegations Of CSR BI Corruption, Deputy Of Follow The Legal Process

Deputy Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Saan Mustopa, respects the legal process by the KPK which summoned one of its members, HG from the NasDem Party faction of the DPR RI regarding the investigation into alleged corruption in the distribution of corporate social responsibility funds (CSR) of Bank Indonesia (BI).

Even Saan admitted that what had been running at the KPK related to the investigation, he respected it.

"Yes, we'll just follow the legal process, yes, I'll check everything later," said Saan, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, December 29.

Saan admitted that there was no problem with what happened to his members regarding the alleged corruption case.

He explained that not all members of the DPR RI could access the CSR funds. For this reason, he also asked members of the DPR RI who can access CSR BI to use it as well as possible for the benefit of the community.

Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators summoned two members of the Indonesian House of Representatives related to the investigation into alleged corruption in the distribution of corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds for Bank Indonesia (BI).

"The investigation at the Corruption Eradication Commission Office Jalan Kuningan Persada Kav 4, Setiabudi, South Jakarta on behalf of HG and ST," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto when confirmed in Jakarta, Friday (27/12).

Quoted from ANTARA, the two members of the Indonesian House of Representatives named Heri Gunawan (HG) from the Gerindra and Satori (ST) factions from the NasDem Faction. So far, the KPK has not provided any information about why the two legislators were being investigated by investigators regarding the investigation into the alleged corruption of BI CSR funds.

The investigators were related to searches at two locations suspected of storing evidence related to the case. The two locations were the Bank Indonesia (BI) Building in Thamrin, Central Jakarta on Monday, December 16 and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) which was searched on Thursday, December 19.
