2 Dealers Save 12 Packages Of Methamphetamine In The Banjar Banjarmasin Bumi Hotel Room

BANJARMASIN - Satresnarkoba Polresta Banjarmasin, Polda South Kalimantan found 12 packages of methamphetamine weighing 97.79 grams while searching room 306 Hotel Bumi Banjar.

The hotel room was searched after officers arrested two perpetrators who were suspected of collaborating with a methamphetamine dealer known to have the initials MR (24) and CS (30) a housewife.

"After we arrested MR and CS and then interrogated and developed, it turned out that they were staying at the Bumi Banjar Hotel in the Kertak Hanyar area, Banjar Regency, officers immediately conducted a search and found evidence of tens of grams of crystal methamphetamine," said Head of the Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Unit, Kompol Bala P Dewa in Banjarmasin, Antara, Friday, November 13.

Bala said the arrests of the two perpetrators who had a cousin relationship were carried out on Saturday, December 7, at around 19.04 WITA.

"We arrested MR and CS while in Pekapuran Raya Gang Bambu Indah, east Banjarmasin District, who allegedly wanted to make a shabu-shabu transaction," he said representing the Banjarmasin Police Chief Kombes Pol. Kuncun Kurniadi.

Kompol Bala also said that apart from the 97.79 grams of crystal methamphetamine confiscated, officers also secured other evidence such as two packs of plastic clips, one unit of digital scales, two blades of crystal methamphetamine made of plastic straws.

Based on the findings of evidence, the two perpetrators who were still teenagers were brought to the Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Unit Office for examination. Both of them were detained at

Banjarmasin Police Detention Center for further legal proceedings.

" MR and CS have been named suspects and charged with Article 112 paragraph (2) Jo 132 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a minimum prison sentence of six years," he said.
