Prabowo's Message To The Police: Save, Reduce Concession And Ceremony

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto reminded the police to always be frugal and efficient in managing the budget in their institutions.

This was conveyed by the President when giving directions at the 2024 Police Chief of Police's meeting at the Police Academy (Akpol), Semarang, Central Java, Wednesday, December 11.

"Once again, save, reduce waste, reduce ceremonies, don't celebrate too much," he said, quoted by Antara.

Prabowo said that it is better to celebrate birthdays with the police in a simple manner and avoid waste, for example by tumpengan at headquarters.

"Reduce birthday celebrations. It's simple to crash at headquarters," he said.

Prabowo reminded the police to always side with the people and defend the interests of the people.

"I ask you, I appeal, not on behalf of Prabowo, but on behalf of the Indonesian people. On behalf of my people. On behalf of my children, the police take sides, and always defend the interests of the Indonesian people," he said.

Prabowo also emphasized his hope that the police should always uphold professionalism in their duties.

"With strong police, militants, professionals, we save our future. We save the nation. The nation and the people really need skilled police," he said.
