Again, Israeli Attack Hits Hospital In Northern Gaza, 4 Health Workers Died

JAKARTA - Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in North Gaza, Hossam Abu Safieh, revealed that the health facility he operated to deal with the health of Palestinians was again the target of an Israeli military attack, Friday, December 6.

The attack killed four hospital health workers and the absence of a remaining surgeon at one of the last health centers in the area.

"There was a series of airstrikes on the north and west sides of the hospital, accompanied by direct and intense gunfire," Safieh said, quoted from AFP.

When confirmed regarding this attack, the Israeli army has not yet responded.

Gaza's civil defense spokesman, Mahmud Bassal, said Israeli soldiers entered Kamal Adwan Hospital, evacuated patients, and arrested several Palestinians.

The city of Beit Lahia in North Gaza, which is also the location of Kamal Adwan Hospital, has been an area of Israeli military national operations for the past two months and has increased in recent days, forcing thousands of people to flee amid the bombings.

Israeli troops have stormed Kamal Adwan Hospital several times since the start of the invasion of Gaza in October 2023. Director of the intensive care unit at Kamal Adwan Hospital, Ahmad Al-Kahlut, also became the death toll of an Israeli airstrike late last month.
