Palace Respects Miftah Maulana's Decision To Resign From The Presidential Special Envoy

The Presidential Palace respects the decision of the preacher Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman to resign from his position as Presidential Special Envoy.

"We respect his decision," said Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 6.

Hasan has not received information whether Miftah will be replaced because the decision is President Prabowo Subianto's prerogative.

Previously, Miftah Maulana decided to resign from her position as President Prabowo Subianto's Special Envoy for Religious Harmony and the Development of Religious Facilities.

The decision was conveyed by Miftah at a press conference at Ora Aji, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region.

"Today, with all humility and sincerity, and with full awareness, I would like to convey a decision that I have thought deeply. After praying, praying, praying, and istighfar, I have decided to resign from my duties as the Presidential Special Envoy for Religious Harmony and the Development of Religious Facilities," said Miftah.

Miftah echoed that the decision was not due to pressure or requests from anyone, but was based on deep love, respect, and responsibility to President Prabowo Subianto and the entire community.

As a preacher and servant of the people, Miftah said that service to the nation and state is not limited to one position and position, but includes various efforts wherever it can provide benefits.
