JAKARTA - Amnesty International declared Israel to have committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza since the start of the invasion on October 27, 2023.
The human rights organization (HAM) headquartered in London said its findings were based on inhumane statements and genocide by Israeli government and military officials. Including footage of satellite imagery documenting destruction, field work, and field reports from Gazans.
"Month after Month, Israel has treated Palestinians in Gaza as a subhuman group that does not deserve human rights and dignity, showing its intention to physically destroy them," Amnesty Chief Agnes Callamard told AFP at a press conference in The Hague, Netherlands, Thursday, December 5.
Amnesty said that his party's latest report was a call for the international community to unite against Israel's efforts on Palestinian soil, Gaza.
"Our burdensome discovery should be a call to build for the international community: this is genocide. This must stop now," added Callamard.
Israel's invasion of Gaza began on October 27, 2023, under the pretext of destroying Palestinian independence fighters, Hamas. However, this Israeli aggression has caused a flood of Palestinian civilian lives.
