Semarang Police Chief Ready To Be Evaluated In The Aftermath Of The Shooting Of Vocational High School Students By Police

Semarang Police Chief, Kombes Irwan Anwar stated that he was ready to be evaluated in the aftermath of the shooting of SMKN 4 Semarang student, Gamma Rizkynata Oktafandy alias GRO (17) until his member, Aipda Robig Zaenudin.

This was conveyed by Kombes Irwan in a hearing meeting with Commission III of the DPR RI, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, December 3.

During the meeting, Irwan admitted that he was ready to accept any consequences as a result of the shooting by his subordinates.

"I am fully ready to take responsibility, I am ready to be evaluated, whatever the language, I am ready to accept the consequences of this incident," said Irwan in the DPR Commission III room.

On behalf of the Semarang Police Chief, Irwan also expressed his condolences for the death of Gamma due to the unprofessionalism of its members.

"We, as the superior of Brigadier R, on this occasion apologize profusely to the entire community, especially the people of Semarang City, especially the extended family of the late Ananda Gamma," he said.

Irwan did not deny that Aipda Robig's actions were careless in using firearms and were too excessive.

"And for all the actions of my member Brigadier R after ignoring the principles of using force, ignoring the situation, carelessly using firearms, and having taken excessive action," concluded Irwan. As is known, evidence of the shooting of Gamma Rizkynata alias GRO (17) already belongs to the victim's family.

CCTV footage around the scene shows Aipda Robig Zaenudin (38) shooting Gamma and two of his friends.

Aipda Robig was seen holding three victims and then shooting GRO and two of his other friends. GRO died from a bullet in his hip.
