Prabowo Wants To Learn Brazil's Success In Working On Free Nutrition

JAKARTA President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto wants to learn from Brazil's success which has run the Free Nutrition and renewable energy meals program.

This was conveyed by Prabowo at the Indonesia-Brazil Business Forum in the sideline of the G20 Summit at the Copakabana Palace, Rio de Janeiro, last Sunday.

I give free food to every child in Indonesia. And in this case, I also want to learn from Brazil who has succeeded. So I have asked my team to arrange with your investors to Indonesia," Prabowo was quoted as saying by the Press Bureau of the State Secretariat, Monday, November 18.

Prabowo revealed that he would deploy a team to study the Free Nutrition Food program implemented in Brazil.

"We want to form a team to study this Brazilian food program for school children. So after food adequacy and children's meals, we also lead to adequacy of energy," Prabowo said.

At the same moment, Prabowo also expressed his desire to learn from Brazil regarding the implementation of renewable energy.

"I think Brazil is more advanced than us in using environmentally friendly energy through diesel, producing diesel from palm oil," he said.

Prabowo is optimistic that Indonesia can realize this because it has many sources of environmentally friendly energy.

"We have a lot of energy from the sun. We are excited to welcome the future," he said.
