Denpasar KPU Schedules Logistics Distribution To Villages On November 25

The Denpasar City General Election Commission (KPU) has scheduled a simultaneous distribution process for regional elections for all villages/kelurahan on November 25, 2024.

"Those are all sub-districts, but we have not compiled the routes, simultaneously taken to the village directly, later PPS (voting committee) villages will give them to KPPS (voting organizers) on D-1," said Denpasar KPU chairman Dewa Ayu Sekar Anggaraeni, Thursday, November 14.

Currently, the Denpasar KPU has not set the route, but what is certain is that the delivery will use a box car, in contrast to the February election, which uses an open truck covered with tarpaulin.

"Because this is the rainy season, we anticipate using a box car but we are still looking for vendors, we don't know the capacity per car, later we will share it because the number of polling stations is different," said Sekar.

The number of polling stations in Denpasar City is 1,001, of which there are two logistics boxes for the election of governors and deputy governors and mayors and deputy mayors respectively.

"West Denpasar has 291 polling stations, it is multiplied by two almost 600, South Denpasar 270 polling stations, East Denpasar 189 polling stations, and North Denpasar 251 polling stations, later we will adjust the capacity of the box car once it is transported, we will try to finish it one day," he said.

After that they will continue the packaging process by putting everything in the ballot box and wrapping it in plastic so that at least on November 19 is ready to be sent.

At that time, the ballot boxes from the TPS will be brought by the KPPS to the village and the village PPK will take them to the sub-district implementing committee (PPK) to be taken by the Denpasar KPU, while in the Simultaneous Pilkada, the PPK will bring all the boxes directly to the KPU.
