The KPK Is Looking For Evidence That The Boss Of PT Taspen Is In The Pocket Of Thank You From A Securities Company

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating whether or not there is a giving of thank you money or kickback to Antonius N.S. Kosasih as former PT Taspen (Persero).

This was conveyed by the Director of KPK Investigation Asep Guntur Rahayu regarding the follow-up to the investigation into the alleged fictitious investment corruption committed by PT Taspen (Persero). There is a possibility that Kosasih will receive a kick back from a securities company, including Insight Investments Management.

"That's what we're looking for (win back, red)," Asep told reporters quoted on Thursday, November 7.

Asep lantas menjelaskan PT Insight Investments Management merupakan salah satu perusahaan manajer investasi yang digandeng PT Taspen untuk meliput uang pensiun ke sejumlah securitas. Hanya saja, praktiknya tidak sesuai aturan sehingga diduga terjadi korupsi.

"One of them is because it turns out that the investment is not profitable, it continues to be a loss there," he said.

However, Asep has not detailed the state losses due to PT Taspen's fictitious investment with PT Insight Investment Management which is worth IDR 1 trillion. Calculations are still carried out by cooperating with auditors and state financial experts.

"So later there will be two systems, later whether to use total loss. The total loss is the money that shouldn't come out, it turns out that everything is calculated. There is also something he said that is in accordance with what is exhausted, which comes out. That's called real cost," explained Asep.

"How much is the loss. For example, there is still Rp. 500 billion left, which means the calculation is Rp. 500 billion. So there is no total loss, so the real cost is there which is calculated," he continued.

As previously reported, the KPK decided to increase the status of handling allegations of corruption at PT Taspen (Persero) from an investigation to an investigation. Antonius NS Kosasih who is the main director is inactive is a suspect in this case.

Kosasih has also been prevented from leaving the country for six months to facilitate the investigation of cases. This forced effort also applies to Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto as President Director of Insight Investments Management.

In this case, PT Taspen is suspected of making fictitious investments of up to Rp1 trillion. The funds were transferred in a number of forms such as stocks to sukuk.
