AGO: Ronald Tannur Free Sentence Tariff IDR 3.5 Billion

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) said that the bribe value received by three judges at the Surabaya District Court was to be acquitted of Rp. 3.5 billion.

The nominal is known based on the testimony of the suspect Lisa Rachmat, who is Ronald Tannur's legal adviser.

"So the total is Rp. 3.5 billion. For the Rp. 3.5 billion, according to the LR statement, it was given to the panel of judges who handled the case," said the Director of Investigation at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Abdul Qohar to reporters, Monday, November 4.

The bribes given to the three judges, namely Erintuah Damanik, Heru Hanindyo, and Mangapul, came from the suspects Lisa Rachmat and Meirizka Widjaja who were the mothers of Ronald Tannur.

Lisa Rachmat is said to have spent Rp2 billion to take care of the case. The money is a bailout that will later be replaced by Meirizka Widjaja.

Meanwhile, the suspect Meirizka Widjaja had handed over money to Lisa Rachmat at the beginning of their agreement worth Rp. 1.5 billion.

"During the Ronald Tannur case, up to the decision of the Surabaya District Court, the MW figure has handed over a sum of money to LR as legal adviser to Ronald Tannur in the amount of Rp. 1.5 billion which was given in stages," he said.

"LR Kuga bailed out the cost of the management until the decision of the Surabaya State Court amounted to Rp2 billion," continued Qohar.

Meanwhile, the billions were handed over by Lisa Rachmat to the panel of judges so that Ronald Tannur was acquitted in the alleged murder case of Dini Sera Afriyanti.
