Complete List Of MotoGP Racers For The 2025 Season

JAKARTA The composition of MotoGP riders for the 2025 competition season is complete. The composition is still the same. There are 11 teams and 22 riders who will enliven this most prestigious motorcycle racing event.

The MotoGP in August 2024 has announced that the opening Grand Prix will take place at the Chang Circuit, Buriram, Thailand. The first series was held from February 28 to March 2, 2025.

This is the first time after 25 years the opening of the event took place in Southeast Asia. Thailand replaces Qatar, which is still in the renovation stage.

The 2025 competition season will be marked by the transfer of the Prima Pramac Racing team. The team decided to leave Dutaci and join Yamaha.

Pramac's decision made Ducati deploy three teams. First, of course, Ducati Lenovo Team will oversee Francesco Bagnaia and six times world champion, Marc Marquez.

The second team to use the Italian manufacturer is Pertamina Enduro VR46. The team belonging to the legend Valentino Rossi will be strengthened by Fabio at Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli.

Meanwhile, the third team is Gresini Racing. This team will be defended by Alex Marquez and his compatriot who are rookie racers, Fermin Aldeguer.

On the other hand, Yamaha for the first time since 2022 has again deployed two teams and four riders. Monster Energy fenced off Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins, while Prima Pramac was defended by Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira.

Honda also deployed two teams and four riders. The HRC team as the factory team was strengthened by Luca Marini and Joan Mir, the Honda Castrol LCR remained defended by Johann Zarco, and the Honda Idemitsu LCR was occupied by a rookie from Thailand, Somkiat Chantra.
