Senior General Of The Revolutionary Guard Ensures Iran Responds To Israeli Attacks

JAKARTA - Iran will "definitely" launch another attack on Israel in response to the latest acts of aggression by the occupation regime against the country, a senior general of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) said.

Deputy IRGC Commander Brigadier General Ali Fadavi delivered the statement on the occasion of National Day Against Global Arrogance, also known as National Student Day, marking the takeover of the US embassy by Iranian students in 1979 at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran on Sunday.

"The details cannot be discussed yet, but it will definitely be done," Brigadier General Fadavi said, referring to the possibility of an attack on Israel, which is expected to be named Operation True Promise III.

"The world community understands that the Zionist regime is the invaders and they occupy Palestinian soil, expel people from their homes, kill people, women and children," he explained.

Brigadier General Fadavi's remarks came a day after Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned the United States and Israel they would definitely accept a devastating response to their aggression.

Iran launched about 200 missiles toward the Israeli regime's military, as well as spy and intelligence bases across the occupation area on October 1, as part of Operation True Promise II.

The operation was carried out in response to the murder of the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh, Secretary General Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah, and senior general of the IRGC Abbas Nilforoushan.

In response, Israel targeted two border provinces of Iran, Islam and Khuzestan, as well as Tehran in the early hours of October 26.

Tehran claims Iran's integrated air defense system managed to intercept and ward off the aggression.

Iran said it would respond to Israel's latest aggression and would not ignore its rights.
