Textile Factory Fire Contains 108 Machine Units In Bandung, 7 Fire Fleet Deployed

JAKARTA - The Fire Department (Disdamkar) deployed seven units of fire fighting fleets to deal with the textile factory fire incident in Rancamanyar District, Bandung Regency.

Head of Disdamkar Fire Department of Bandung Regency, M Saepuloh, said that his party received a fire report at 11.30 WIB. His party is currently making efforts to extinguish the burned area so that the fire does not spread further.

"Information from the owner, it is a warehouse, where in the warehouse there are 108 units of machines, exhausted fabrics, quite a number of yarn rolls," said Saepuloh in Bandung Regency, Monday, November 4, confiscated by Antara.

Saepuloh said joint officers who received reports of residents went straight to the scene to extinguish the fire by deploying seven fire fighting fleets.

"We deployed approximately 30 officers from the Kopo Park Unit, Ciparay, Baleedah from Mako," he said.

Regarding the cause of the fire, the new officers will conduct an investigation regarding the cause of the fire after the fire has been successfully extinguished and cooling is carried out.

"It is still under investigation and I cannot convey it yet, because it concerns the area of 1,500 square meters of the total area. Currently it is still in the process of extinguishing it, we cannot inform where the source of the fire came from," he said.

Furthermore, he said that at that incident there was one person with minor burns who had been successfully evacuated to the nearest hospital.

"There was no death victim, but there was one person who was burned. Now he has been rushed to the nearest hospital," he said.

Saepuloh explained that currently officers are still trying to block it so that the fire does not spread to other buildings in the factory complex.

"We are still in the process of extinguishing and sweeping to ensure there is no more fire, because the majority of the burned ones are textile material. The above looks extinguished, but the bottom is still on fire," he said.
