Chery Tiggo 5X High Energy Edition Officially Launches, Especially For Young People

Chery is constantly in innovation, this time the Chinese brand officially launched the Tiggo 5X High Energy Edition targeting the youth market.

Quoting from the Bitauto page, Friday, December 27, this one car offers a new design language, both from the exterior and interior that makes it have a modern impression.

On the front, the Chery Tiggo 5X High Energy Edition comes with a grip matrix trapium combined with a separate LED main light on both sides, which is connected to daytime running lights making it have an aggressive impression.

Meanwhile, from the side, it looks quite aggressive with a rather high window creating the position of the car leaning forward. In addition, Pillar D also highlighted the crossover style and pinned the red brake calibre which made it look sporty. At first glance, it is similar to the Omoda 5 series.

From the back, this car is equipped with a fairly wide three-dimensional light and is embedded in the design of the quad exhaust on either side at the bottom, which increases the impression of sporty. In terms of dimensions, this new car is 4,400 mm long, 1,830 mm wide, and 1,588 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,630 mm.

In terms of interior, this new car has a modern cabin layout. There is a new 20.5-inch Nebula surround screen, paired with Lion 5.0 AI cabin system, offering a better interactive experience, by ignoring support for HiCar and CarPlay cellular connectivity.

Regarding the heart of the runway, this car is equipped with a 1.5T engine, which produces a maximum power of 115 kW and a peak torque of 230 Nm, which is paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). For those interested, they have to spend 69,900 yuan or around Rp155 million.
