Jasa Marga's Two Functional Toll Roads Crossed By 113,686 Vehicles During The 2024 Christmas Holiday

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) noted that two toll roads were opened functionally, namely the Solo 'Yogyakarta' YIA Toll Road segment of the Klaten' Prambanan and the Probolinggo 'Banyuwangi Toll Road Segment Gending'Kraksaan, in total hundreds of thousands of vehicles were passed during the 2024 Christmas holiday.

In the period 20-25 December 2024, for the Solo-Yogyakarta-YIA Toll Road, the Klaten-Prambanan segment, Jasa Marga recorded 113,686 vehicles in and out of this functional toll road.

"This figure is the cumulative number of traffic volume of the Prambanan Toll Gate (GT) in the out direction of 59,874 vehicles and the Prambanan GT in the entrance direction of 53,812 vehicles," said Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana in her official statement, Friday, December 27.

"On the functional route of the Jogja 'Solo Toll Road, the highest traffic peak occurred on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, with a total of 25,082 vehicles," he continued.

Meanwhile, on December 21-25, 2024, the Probolinggo 'Banyuwangi Segment Gending' Toll Road was recorded to have been passed by 12,569 vehicles.

"Likewise with the Probolinggo Banyuwangi Toll Road, the highest traffic peak occurred on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, with a total of 3,095 vehicles," said Lisye.

According to Lisye, the opening of the two functional routes received high enthusiasm from road users.

In addition, the realization of traffic volume in these two functional lines also shows a positive trend with significant benefits in supporting the smooth flow of vehicles in their respective regions

"This functional channel has helped optimize traffic distribution during the 2024 Christmas holiday period," he said.

Lisye again appealed to road users who will enter the functional toll road to follow the directions of officers in the field and obey the applicable compensation. Including, the maximum speed limit that is allowed and ensuring the condition of the vehicle is in prime condition and fills full fuel before entering the functional lane.
