JAKARTA - Two people were hospitalized for smoke after a fire at a nuclear submarineyard in Cumbria, northwest of England on Wednesday (30/10) in the early hours of the morning.
The fire at BAE Systems in far-in-Fuwas reported to have occurred at around 00.44 a.m. (October 30) and is still ongoing, the Cumbria police said.
Local police stated there was no nuclear risk, but local residents were asked to stay indoors during the emergency services, and close doors and windows.
The Cumbria police statement added that there were no casualties in the fire but two people had to be taken to the hospital due to inhaling smoke.
