Child Victims Of Parents Persecution At Pasar Rebo Arrested At The East Jakarta Police

JAKARTA - A 5-year-old boy who was a victim of domestic violence (KDRT) by his parents at Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, is currently receiving psychological treatment at the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the East Jakarta Metro Police. The victim suffered bruises on his face due to being abused by his biological parents

"The victim is already at home safe. He has coordinated with related parties to restore the child's psychology," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed, Wednesday, October 30.

In addition, the two perpetrators, who are the victim's parents, have been detained at the East Jakarta Metro Police for further investigation.

"The perpetrator has been arrested but is still in the investigation stage and deepening the investigation. As soon as possible we will release it completely," he said.

Kombes Nicolas said the victim was 5 years old but not yet in school. The victim is often abused by his parents for often telling his family's disgrace that he is not fed.

"The victim was tortured by her parents," he said.

A boy suffered injuries to his face as a result of being abused by his biological parents in the RW 09 area, Kalisari, Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta.

The poor boy continued to grumble in pain at his neighbor, after experiencing the abuse by his biological parents.

Then residents reported the incident to the Pasar Rebo Police. However, due to cases related to children, the case was transferred to the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the East Jakarta Metro Police.
