Second Debate Preparation, Ridwan Kamil Many Public Speaking Exercises

JAKARTA - Candidate for governor number 1 Ridwan Kamil revealed the preparations for the RIDO pair ahead of the second Jakarta Pilkada debate which will take place on Sunday, October 27, the day after tomorrow.

Ridwan Kamil said that he had a lot of public speaking exercises so that the material presented was precise and efficient according to the theme.

"This morning it was training, so the theme is economic infrastructure basic services. The details can't be done now, of course later, but the point is more about preparation for training because the opening is only 4 minutes of closing, only 2 minutes to answer only a minute, but there are many topics," said Ridwan Kamil at the Golkar Party DPD office, Central Jakarta, Friday, October 25.

"So it is true that the debate challenges are how many ideas are many theories but the time is short so that earlier there were more public speaking exercises that were quick to be precise and entertaining," he continued.

To note, the second debate on the 2024 Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) will be held at the Ecovention, Ancol, North Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 19.00 WIB until it is finished. The duration of the debate will last about 150 minutes.

Head of the Educational Socialization Division for Voters and Public Relations of the DKI Jakarta KPU, Astri Megatri, said that the KPU did not change the segment in the second debate, which was six segments.

"For this second debate, the segmentation is still the same as the first debate, namely there are six where the distribution is still the same," said Astri, as quoted by Antara, Friday, October 25.

Segmen 1 akan diisi dengan penyampaian visi misi program dari masing-masing paslon gubernur dan wakil gubernur. Segmen 2 dan 3 merupakan segmen pendalaman visi misi oleh moderator.

Then segments 4 and 5 are inter-paslon questions and answers. Finally, in segment 6, it will be filled with the submission of the closing statements of each candidate pair.

The theme and sub-them of the second debate of the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada is about the 'Economics and Social Welfare'. Regarding the debate theme, the questions have been formulated by the formulating team, namely experts or experts in their fields.

In the second debate, there were six sub-themes, namely integrated infrastructure, basic excellent education services, health handling social inequality, digital economy development, tourism MSMEs, and the creative economy inflation of basic commodities.
