Attorney General Meets Minister Maruarar Sirait, Discusses 5 Million Houses And State Land Programs

JAKARTA - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin and Minister of Housing and Settlement Area Maruarar Sirait held a meeting at the Attorney General's Office (AGO). They discussed the program for building 5 million houses for the community.

The AGO's involvement was due to the program because Koprs Adhyaksa had several confiscated land belonging to the state.

"The Prosecutor's Office oversees several state confiscated lands, therefore we will synergize with the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas so that these lands can be used for the benefit of the people. Of course, this requires a mechanism and time in the process," said Burhanuddin in his statement, Tuesday, October 22.

In the meeting held on October 22, it was agreed that the two agencies would start the land acquisition process.

In fact, it is stated that soon there will be clarity regarding the amount of land submitted to the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas to be used in the program.

Not only that, but the AGO will also assist in the procurement of goods and services at the Ministry.

"Especially, the matter of making regulations is to realize legal and legal development according to the legal umbrella," said Burhanuddin.

Meanwhile, Maruarar Sirait or who is often called Ara said that the 5 million house procurement program was a mandate from President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka to respond quickly to the needs of the community in obtaining a place to live.

"We have to move quickly and find solutions to be able to take advantage of confiscated lands from corruptors that can be used by the people as a place to live. Many of these lands are located in strategic areas such as Jabodetabek," said Ara.

Cooperation with the AGO is said to be an effort to realize President Prabowo Subianto's work program for the welfare of the community.

"This is in order to realize 100 Days of President Prabowo Subianto's Program by working together in building housing for the people," said Ara.
