Visited By The UAE-Egypt At The Palace, Prabowo Discusses The Potential For Strategic Cooperation

President Prabowo Subianto received a visit from two special envoys from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 22.

Based on an official statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, the Special Envoy for UAE President Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan arrived at around 13.00 WIB.

Sheikh Nahayan was greeted by President Prabowo in the Kredential Room. The two then conducted a photo session together before Sheikh Nahayan signed the state guest book.

After that, a limited meeting took place in the Jepara Room, accompanied by delegates from the two countries.

Shortly after the meeting with the UAE envoy was over, President Prabowo welcomed the Special Envoy for the President of the Republic of Egypt Osama Al-Azhari.

Like Sheikh Nahayan, Osama Al-Azhari also conducted a photo session together and signed a state guest book before continuing official talks in the Jepara Room.

The two meetings took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere, with the agenda of discussing cooperation and the potential for developing strategic relations in various sectors.

This visit also marks Indonesia's commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations with the UAE and Egypt, as well as strengthening Indonesia's role in the international arena in maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East region.

Also accompanying President Prabowo at the meeting were Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Anis Matta, Director General of Asia Pacific and Africa of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdul Kadir Jailani, and Director of the Middle East of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahrul Tsani Fathurrahman.
