Indonesian Hospital In North Gaza Bombed By Israeli Tanks, 2 Floors Destroyed

JAKARTA - The Israeli military fired artillery shells at the Indonesian Hospital (RS) building in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza, Palestine.

Reports from news agencies Al Mayadeen and Quds News Network via Al Jazeera, Israeli tanks surrounded hospitals in northern Gaza on Saturday 19 October.

Director of Indonesian Hospitals in northern Gaza Dr Marwan al-Sultan said Israeli tanks fired artillery shells into the second and third floors of hospitals causing destruction.

The terror against the health care agency in Gaza puts the position of doctors and medical personnel in charge of dealing with the health crisis in the hospital in danger.

The hospital is also a refugee site for Gazans affected by Israeli military aggression.

So far there have been no reports of the number of fatalities and injuries.

Most recently, Israeli forces have also surrounded al-Awda hospitals in the Greater Java region, northern Gaza.
