Prabowo Gives Mandate To Wamenaker For Hajj And Umrah After The Inauguration Of The President

Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Afriansyah Noor said President-elect Prabowo Subianto gave a mandate to himself to take care of the Hajj and Umrah bodies in Indonesia.

"Mr. Prabowo's directive to me, to the three of us to take care of the Hajj and Umrah affairs agency," Afriansyah Noor said on the sidelines of the launch of the PMI Special Financing Facilities Program to Work in Japan in Jakarta, Friday, October 18, was confiscated by SANTara.

According to him, this Hajj management agency at the same level as the ministry can regulate the system and also Hajj regulations. So that in the future it can run well and transparently.

On the other hand, the very large number of Muslims in Indonesia is also the foundation of the presence of a body that focuses on taking care of Hajj activities and Umrah later. So, pilgrims and Umrah can carry out worship properly, comfortably and safely later.

"So it's a body at the ministry level made by him (Prabowo) for acceleration and also for improvement," he said.

According to him, Indonesia should have its own body that focuses on dealing with the pilgrimage and also Umrah. Where, Indonesia has a very large number of Muslims and almost every year the number of requests for Hajj continues to grow.

"Because we are a large nation, with the largest number of Muslims, so the improvement of the Hajj system must be done immediately," he explained.

Later, Afriansyah Noor will be accompanied by two other people who also take care of Hajj and Umrah such as Gus Irfan Yusuf as Chairman of the Agency, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak and also himself who will serve as Deputy Head of the Agency at the Hajj and Umrah Agency.

Previously, it was known that on Tuesday (15/10) afternoon, Afriansyah Noor together with a number of political figures and professionals returned to the residence of Elected President Prabowo Subianto, which is located on Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta.
