Provincial Government Implements Protocol Roads Ahead Of Prabowo-Gibran Inauguration

Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Province Heru Budi Hartono revealed that his staff had tidied up protocol roads to make it comfortable for state guests who wanted to attend the inauguration of the President and Vice President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka on October 20.

"I just finished the DKI Jakarta regional readiness meeting. Yes, of course, it isautified, repairing roads because there are state guests, some at (airport) Halim and Soekarno Hatta. This includes protocol roads that will be passed by the Head of State who will attend the inauguration on October 20," Heru said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 16.

In addition, on the other hand, it is also known that the TNI Headquarters (Mabes) held a VVIP security operation for the inauguration of the President and Vice President for the 2024 period 2029 on October 16, 2024.

Head of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Information Center (Kapuspen) Maj. Gen. Hariyanto explained a few days before the inauguration on October 20, 2024, the troops participated in a series of preparations that included an assembly of personnel and material titles at the National Monument Cross Field, Jakarta, then tactical simulations (TFG), and a series of rehearsals for both officials and state guests.

Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka will be sworn in as president and vice president for the 2024 period in the Nusantara building, DPR/MPR Senayan, Jakarta on October 20, 2024.

The inauguration ceremony will be attended by a number of high state institutions, leaders of friendly countries, and candidates for the 2024 presidential election.

So far, several countries have confirmed that their representatives will attend the inauguration of Prabowo-Gibran in Jakarta, including the United States.

The United States Presidential Palace of the White House last week announced President Joe Biden sent a delegation led by US Representatives to the United Nations Linda Thomas Greenfield to attend Prabowo-Gibran's inauguration in Jakarta.

The delegation consisted of five top US officials, namely US Ambassador to Indonesia Kamala Shirin Lakhdir, US Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don't Trust, US Indo-Pacific Command Commander Admiral Samuel Paparo, Assistant Secretary of Foreign Affairs for East Asia and Pacific Affairs US Ministry of Foreign Affairs Daniel J. Kritenbrink, and Special Assistant to the President/Senior Director for East Asia and Oceania of the Mira Rapp-Hooper White House National Security Council.
