Prabowo Was Invited To Discuss Ministerial Candidates, Pramono: I Tell You What It Is, It's Good, It's Not

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Candidate number 3 Pramono Anung admitted that he had been invited to meet by President-elect Prabowo Subianto to discuss candidates who would fill the cabinet seat of government for the next 5 years.

However, Pramono emphasized that this discussion was carried out before Prabowo summoned the candidates for ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of agencies that have now been known to the public.

"Yes, for me, it wasn't just yesterday, I have met him many times, including discussing many things," said Pramono in Makassar, East Jakarta, Wednesday, October 16.

Pramono expressed his views on figures he felt qualified or who were not in filling ministerial seats. His assessment is based on Pramono's experience as Cabinet Secretary in the era of President Joko Widodo and Presidential Secretary of the Megawati Soekarnoputri era.

"Because maybe my two-term experience as Minister of Cabinet Secretary. It knows people, who are the ministers whose capabilities are good to help him and I tell him what they are. This is good, it's not. In the past, yes, discussions," said Pramono.

Currently, Prabowo has determined the names of ministers who will assist him in the next five years of government. Pramono assessed Prabowo's choice to have sufficient capability.

"I certainly hope and pray for anyone who will be elected by the elected president to become his assistant, and if I look at almost some of the names proposed, I know personally," Pramono explained.

"The names who already have a long experience and especially those who are in principle are for strategic positions because currently the world conditions are not doing well, so the people who regulate the economic and foreign politics sectors are important and I see the people are capable," he added.
