Deputy Gerindra Sugiono Is Ready To Be Placed Wherever To Support Prabowo's Government

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party as well as member of the DPR, Sugiono, admitted that he was ready to be placed in any position to support the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.

"I am a soldier, whatever is given to me will be carried out as well as possible with full responsibility," said Sugiono after meeting Prabowo at his residence in the Kartanegara IV area, South Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Monday, October 14.

Sugiono confirmed that his meeting with Prabowo today discussed the issue of his placement in government.

When asked if there was a ministerial position discussed at the meeting, Sugiono did not want to explain this.

"We'll see what Mr. Prabowo will give me, thank you," he said.

So far, more than 20 figures, including professionals, politicians, bureaucrats, active police officers, and leaders of community organizations (ormas, have visited Prabowo's residence since the afternoon. The names are believed to be candidates for ministers and candidates for the head of the Prabowo government agency.

The names include Prasetio Hadi (Chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP), Sugiono (Vice Chairperson of the Gerindra Party), Widiyanti Putri Wardhana ( Entrepreneur), Natalius Pigai (HAM activist), Yandri Susanto (Vice Chairperson of PAN), Fadli Zon (Vice Chairperson of the Gerindra Party), Nusron Wahid (Polititis Golkar), Saifullah Yusuf (Secretary General of PBNU/Social Minister), Maruarar Sirait (Polititisus of the Gerindra Party), Abdul Kadir Karding (PKB politician), and Wihaji (Vice Chairman of Golkar).

In addition, Teuku Riefky Harsya (Secretary General of the Democratic Party), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (Chairman of the Democratic Party/Minister of ATR/BPN), Arifatul Choiri Fauzi (Muslimat NU), Tito Karnavian (Minister of Home Affairs/Eks of the National Police), Zulkifli Hasan (Chairman of PAN/Mendag), Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro (Academic), Yassierli (Academic), Yusril Ihza Mahendra (State Law Expert), Bahlil Lahadalia (Chairman of the Golkar Party/Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources), and Abdul Mu'ti (General Secretary of PP Muhammadiyah).
